Description

Female Great Dane/Great Pyrenees puppy. Dob 1/24/22 She has shots and worming done. Started on heart worm prevention. Her name is Harper but I’m sure it could be changed with no issues. Her mom was a Great Dane and was massive. She had her hips, knees and elbows certified. Dad was a Great Pyrenees. He has was certified. We researched the right breed for our family. Unfortunately life doesn’t always go as planned. My husbands aunt suffered a stroke. She has to move in with our family permanently. Harper loves kids. We have 2 girls ages 3 and 6. She is excellent with both. We have several nephews under 12 years as well. We have a cat. She is great with. She is doing great on housebreaking. She does use a crate when we are not home. She stays in the yard and is pretty obedient. She likes to be with people. Currently she is 42 pounds. Estimated to be close to 130- plus pounds full grown Rehoming fee applies. Please tell us about your extra large breed experience and what kind of home she would going to. She will come with her collar, leash, shot records and food we have left. This is not a easy decision for our family. We traveled out of state to purchase her. Below is related information he Great Pyredane hybrid is a popular hybrid, recognized by most hybrid and designer dog registries. This giant dog tends to be more reserved and independent than the Great Dane, but more sensitive and eager to please than the Great Pyrenees. These dogs tend to be quite tolerant of children and other animals that are part of its household and are usually calm enough not to send toddlers flying through the air with their antics, but all interactions between children and dogs should be carefully supervised for the safety of the child and the dog, and children should never be allowed climb on the Great Pyredane as this can aggravate certain disorders such as hip dysplasia and Wobbler’s syndrome. Although they are generally mild-mannered and easygoing with their own family, some Great Pyrenees may inherit the guarding tendencies of the Great Pyrenees and become somewhat overprotective of children or other animals in its flock.
