Description
This is Sophia and sadly my husband and I have come to the decision to rehome her at no fault of her own. Unfortunately our home/family is just not the right one for her. She needs a quiet home with no small children or other pets. She is an intense lover and wants to be with her people constantly. We took her in when she was almost a year old from an abusive home. She is 7 years old (born 5/1/2015), spayed, microchiped, and up to date on vaccines until July 15th, 2022. She does have an appointment at Noah's Ark Animal Hospital on July 6th at 10am. She will come with her toys, bed, leashes, harness, coats, nail clippers, collar, tags, food, food storage container, treats, snuffle mat, puzzle toy, canned food, brush, and any other supplies. She is potty trained, does not chew on shoes, destroy things, etc. She honestly is such an amazing dog and it truly breaks our heart to give her up but our children stress her out to the point she shakes and hides in fear and she doesn't deserve that but one of our children has some disabilities and another is just very young and full of energy. Anyways her rehoming fee is $300. Fenced in yard is required as she loves to run and play ball. She weighs 65-70lbs, eats Diamond Natural Sensitive Skin food, loves soft toys with squeakers but will destroy them in a few mins, same with tennis balls. She also lives to chew on real bones and aggressive chewer toys, this is her way of reducing her stress. She can come with a metal crate but honestly she does not need one. She will need time to warm up to strangers, even though she has been exposed to lots of people, she does not trust people until they sit down on our couch, then she will approach them and want to lick their faces. She is very smart, knows sit, lay down, shake, high five, sit pretty, leave it, come, wait, etc. Serious inquiries only.
