Guitarist Starting a Surfy Lofi Band

I'm interested in starting a surfy lofi band. I'm into shoegaze, garage rock, bedroom pop, and surf rock. Some of the bands I'm thinking about for this sound are: surf curse, parquet courts, my bloody valentine, the pixies, dinosaur junior, the neighbourhood, tame impala, etc I play guitar, do some production and electronic music, and play a few other instruments. I can do some vocals but I'd prefer to be backup than be the lead vocalist.
