Looking for ONE healthy/fit/reliable person to ASSIST with various yard/landscaping type tasks. Planning to work 3 hours per day, Saturday and Sunday, preferably 9 AM - noon, but will consider noon - 3 PM or 5 PM - 8 PM if more convenient. Probably have at least 3-4 weekends of work to do, maybe more if interested. Will be working all weather conditions except heavy/constant rain. Pay is $20/hour cash daily with a $15 tip at end of each shift if you've actually worked well (i.e., no complaining/back talk, follow directions, keep moving save for a few short breaks, show up on time, stay entire shift). All tools and materials provided. BYO Covid gear if you want it. May have some extra gloves you can use, but please wear appropriate attire (shoes/clothes that can get dirty/muddy)! BYO drink/snack/music or whatever, cigarette smoking/vape OK (no drugs beyond caffeine/nicotine please). Use the restroom before/after shift; no public facilities on site. Nearest bus stop (62): 4 blocks; nearest shopping center: 6 blocks, nearest MAX stop: 2 miles. Transport to/from MAX station may be an option (Beaverton Transit Center: 3 miles). Sample tasks: Moving rocks from point A to point B Digging out rocks* Leveling dirt (native clay) Stacking rocks Loading/unloading truck (debris/materials) Spreading/laying rocks Moving wood chips from point A to point B Digging holes of various sizes Installing fence posts (T-posts and/or wood) Demolishing deck/wood fence Installing pre-fab fence panels (wood, wire, and/or chain link) Building planter boxes Moving dirt from point A to point B Planting shrubs/plants Spreading mulch Trimming branches Weed trimming Pick up random trash *sized from pea gravel up to retaining stone weighing around 40 lbs. each Working Conditions: Property is on a moderate slope, usually either full sun or full shade. There are fences/gates to go through/around at times. There are dogs (barking). Typical allergens and outdoor creatures (insects especially). There are some stairs possibly to navigate at times. Lots of slick/hard clay soil. Total lot size is 1/5 acre, but house/driveway occupy at least 1/2 of area. Work isn't glamorous/fun, generally tedious/monotonous and DIRTY. Good low impact workout, not expecting break-neck speeds! Need to be able to communicate and take direction, do some heavy lifting, bending, repetitive motion.
