You may visit us at Happy Kids Childcare on Facebook! Open Door Policy: Our Open Door Policy allows you to visit at a distance as often as you like each day without prior notification. You will feel that your child is safe, nurtured, and content when taking advantage of this open invitation. We also send parents/guardians emails, texts, videos and photos of your child throughout each day so that you may feel apart of his/her daily routine while in our protective care. Curriculum Goals for Toddlers and Pre-K: Our minimum goal is to have each child at Kindergarten level prior to entering Kindergarten. We accomplish this and more by providing exceptional care and focused learning for children while fostering each child’s intellectual, social, physical and being-mindful development in an academic-rich environment that teaches each child that learning is our individual responsibility and that learning is also quite FUN! Happy Kids Preschool and Kindergarten Prep Program is open 12 months of the year. We feel this is necessary given the young ages of the children and their pint-sized memory banks! We are allowed to care for 12 children, but our personal choice for the safety of each child/family, is to care for no more than five (5) children at any given time until it is safe to do so. Our curriculum was designed so that children are able to learn at a comfortable pace while implementing a style that is in alignment with their individual needs and personality. For example, Little Learner Math Exercises and Puzzles may include the study of everything from space ships for your lil' astronaut to zoo animals for our future zoologist to Sports Figures Through the Ages for your sports' enthusiast. Art work incorporates reading readiness and math skills, and two foreign languages include Spanish, French and English Sight Words. There are so many opportunities and possibilities for each child to have a quality, one-on-one combined team learning experience at Happy Kids Childcare, Preschool and Kindergarten Prep! Meals Served: Nutritious lunch and snacks - homemade - partially organic - no sugar Special Mention: This is a peanut/peanut butter- free school if your child has a peanut allergy. Our parents are instructed not to bring food from their homes into our childcare regardless if child(ren) have a food allergy. Potty Training: Your toddler does not need to be potty-trained. You may use cloth or disposable diapers Starting Age: 2.5 years (firm) End Age: when child enters Kindergarten Available enrollment(s): One (1) enrollment available for 4-year-old Days and Hours (until completion of Phase 4): Monday - Thursday Open: 6:30am (flexible) to Closing: 5:00pm School Hours: 9:00am to 4:00pm Children social distance 8 feet throughout each day when in classroom and for recess/breaks. The children do not physically mingle as much as we would like this to be otherwise, but they do socialize at a distance.
