Description

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Landscape/ Irrigation technician to service and make repairs to our buildings landscape, surrounding grounds, and irrigation equipment. As the technician, you will be responsible for mowing, pruning, weeding, digging trenches, installing equipment, testing irrigation systems, and conducting regular maintenance checks. You may also be required to install electrical timer systems. As a Landscape/Irrigation technician, you should exhibit a strong work ethic, have detailed knowledge of irrigation techniques and systems. Landscape/Irrigation Technician Responsibilities: • Mow the grass, trim overgrown limbs, hedges, and leaves. • Remove weeds and dead plants. • Apply pesticides to remove harmful insects such as mosquitos, wasps, and ticks. • Conduct general maintenance duties such as cleaning walkways, snow removal, and other duties. • Apply fertilizer to help enhance growth. • Uphold the landscaping design and ensure plant growth. • Plant new bushes, flowers, plants, and shrubs. • Determine irrigation needs for landscape. • Digging trenches and installing pipes and lines. • Installing pumps and electrical timers. • Testing the irrigation system including timers, valves, and sprayers/emitters. • Winterization and de-winterization of all irrigation systems seasonally. • Conducting routine maintenance checks. • Troubleshooting and replacing faulty parts. • Other tasks as may be assigned by maintenance manager or main office authorized personnel.
