Moxie Brigade is a new 4pc, female-fronted rock band looking for a rhythm guitarist to complete our line-up. We’ve been fine-tuning our songs and sound with small shows in the Tampa Bay area (under various other monikers) this year. Looking for a musically energetic gal with good rhythm chops to flesh out our sound, and ideally will have upper-range backing vocals to complement our arrangements (all of us enjoy singing). Our sound and covers mine alt-rock/post-punk/grunge-type genres - Alice In Chains, Audioslave, Belly, Catherine Wheel, Concrete Blonde, Curve, Bowie, Heart, Jefferson Airplane, My Bloody Valentine, Letters to Cleo, Liz Phair, Patti Smith, Pretenders, Ride, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Talking Heads, Throwing Muses, and X, to name a few. We're open-minded musically and interested in expanding our mix with originals to build momentum. Currently practicing together once a week - planning on full-up gigging 2-3 times a month.
