The Lobster Place is seeking Overnight Production employee's. Multiple positions available! Job Position: Overnight Production Laborer at Bronx Lobster Place Starting pay rate is $16.00/hour (+ $5 / hr Differential. Total of $21/hr). Schedule is typically 5 nights per week, 10 pm - 6 am. Job Description/Responsibilities: As a Production Laborer at The Lobster Place, you will be responsible for: Receiving, producing, consolidating and packing seafood orders Maintaining a clean and sanitary work area Maintain compliance with food and safety rules in producing and packaging goods. Demonstrating ability to work in a fast-paced environment Communicating effectively with co-workers and supervisors. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Work at Hunts Point warehouse facility, day or night shifts, available to work on Saturday and/or Sunday Strong communication skills, good work ethic, solid team player Able to bend and lift 30-50lbs. Able to stand for long period of times, ability to perform twisting, turning and bending Comfortable and able to work an 8 to 12-hour shift (hours per day are based on business need) Ability to work in climate from 0 to 38 degrees General knowledge of fish products and seafood a plus, but not mandatory Intermediate Knife Skills a plus, but not mandatory Able to communicate in English.
