Searching for a guy for having quality time ( in call and out call ) If you are interested then]]]]]]]]]]] . . I’m a bass player/ multi instrumentalist in my 40's looking for two guitarists that are texture driven and know how to play with FX’s without over cooking it. A solid, technical drummer that can think outside the box. Lastly, and most important, a female vocalist with a haunting voice that comes across almost ghostly once it’s layered in reverb. I have a number of song ideas in various states that I’d like to develop and build from there. Sound wise I’m going for dark, moody and noisy yet still melodic with some rockin' out thrown in. Explosions In The Sky mixed with early Cure, Joy Division and a dash of Boris come to mind. Though if you’re familiar with Japanese bands like My Dead Girlfriend, Tokyo Shoegazer and Yuragi you’ll have a better understanding of where I‘m coming from. I’m based in Bushwick and have a full studio where we can sketch out ideas and lay down tracks when it comes time to record. Ideally I’d like to get an EP together and start playing shows ASAP. I‘m laidback and easy to work with but please be serious, motivated and able to get together at least once or twice a week in the beginning. I don’t have time to waste with flakes or people with substance abuse problems. If you read all of this and are interested by all means get in touch. Please include links to previous projects you were involved in even if they weren’t in this genre just so I can get an idea of your playing style and I’ll do the same.I also offer full music production. 80's/early 90's style metal/grunge/heavy alt. Influences: Metallica, Black Sabbath, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Corrosion Of Conformity, Danzig, ClutcLateh, Down, Tool, Helmet, Rollins Band, Monster Magnet, and other similar artists. Please be dedicated, motivated, ambitious, over 21 and have the the time to rehearse 2 to 3 times per week and gig 3 to 4 times per month (including out of the area gigs in LA, Vegas, Phoenix and San Diego). I have good connections for gigs, so let's rock now that the lockdown is over!
