Spend the day learning about prevention and how to avoid risky behaviors pitfalls. Create a City-wide Campaign. Certificate awarded. Youth come together to make a difference with their peers and community. Youth SMART is a prevention program that educates youth to become prevention advocates. Student will learn about the pitfalls of risky behaviors and substance abuse. Learn the signs of identifying youth mental health. Student will take what they've learn to create a City-Wide Youth Prevention Campaign. Posters will be designed and then sent for replication. Then distributed throughout the state. Each student will be awarded a Youth Advocate Prevention Certificate, from The Governors Partnership and CPEN Inc. And awarded 6 community service hours.
