Charity bike ride that offers 20, 31 and 62 mile options for more than 400 riders that wind through north Montgomery County. The Burn Your Buns charity bike ride, now in its 18th year, is an annual fundraiser for Bridgewood Farms, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Conroe that provides distinctive day programs for teens and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, offering life enrichment opportunities, creative activities and therapeutic programs in which each client enjoys a full and productive day. The bike ride offers 20, 31 and 62 mile options for more than 400 riders that wind through north Montgomery County. Bridgewood Farms has been servicing clients in and around Montgomery County for 55 years, making it the one of the oldest non-profit organizations in Montgomery County! On average we serve 65 male and female clients five days a week, ranging in age from 18 to 75. By supporting the Burn Your Buns charity bike ride, you will be assisting us with operating expenses that help ensure Bridgewood Farms is able to continue to provide the high level of service to our clients and families for which we are known.
