Game Nights are open to the community and include board games, good people, snacks, and fun. We're back to in-person Game Night! We'll start back with our friends at The Game Shoppe for an evening of games, catching up with live people, and plenty of laughs. 😷 The Game Shoppes' policy states that masks are optional. At The House of Afros, Capes & Curls, we create safe spaces for Black people, and all of our friends, to explore the things we like in nerd or geek culture. Our ultimate goal is to create programs that build community and generate a sense of belonging, where the community can gather and discuss pertinent, sensitive issues using games, science fiction, fantasy, games, and comics, as a catalyst for conversation. Our house motto is "Geek Culture without Ethnic Boundaries", and we live by our words.
