Join us as we celebrate the acquisition of the former Bobby Jones Performing Arts Center originally built as First Congregational Church. On May 19, 2019, we held a community charette to understand the best options to renovate the Bobby Jones Performing Arts Center as a revenue generating asset. This building originally built in 1918 as First Congregational Church, it has sat abandoned for more than 15 years. On May 19, 2022, 4-6pm, we will celebrate the acquisition of this building. With so much love, support and effort from the community our goal is to decrease vacancy, promote safety and increase neighborhood stability in Historic Pleasant Hill. Most importantly, we are preserving legacy and black history y'all! Join us as we celebrate this momentous occasion! Complimentary bubbly and tours of the building!
