Learn the basics about how to save seeds from your own vegetable and herb garden Seeds, like everything else these days, are getting more expensive. What's a savvy gardener to do? Save their own seeds! This class will help you learn the basics of seed saving, including: which seeds you can save, methods for saving seeds from different types of fruit, storing seeds and the legalities of seed saving. Class will include hands on activites, and all participants will leave with a variety of vegetable, herb and/or flower seeds. By saving your own seeds, you not only save money, you develop (over time) plants that are uniquely adapted to your very own garden.
