“Public Health: Taking Care of Everybody” The second in a series of 1st Tuesday of the month lectures on Finding Hope in Uncertain Times. “Public Health: Taking Care of Everybody” The second in a series of 1st Tuesday of the month lectures on Finding Hope & Balance in Uncertain Times. This series is aimed at exploring everyday topics and how we can face today’s uncertainties. Dr. Patricia Markham Risica, DrPH, Associate Professor of Behavioral & Social Sciences, Associate Professor of Epidemiology at the Center for Health Promotion and Health Equity, Brown School of Public Health, will discuss how we can collectively and cooperatively contribute to improving the health of the overall population. She will discuss some of the history of how public health interventions have been used to improve health for the entire population, and how these apply to current health issues.
