NFL Schedule 2022: Patriots To Play Dolphins In Season Opener

FOXBORO, MA — Though the NFL isn't set to post the entire 2022 regular-season schedule until tonight at 8 p.m., the Boston Herald released a few other dates of scheduled games this season a bit early. The New England Patriots will start their 2022 season against the Miami Dolphins on Sept. 11 in Miami at 1 p.m., the Herald first reported. This will also be the first time the Patriots will open the season away from Gillette. The four games confirmed are: Week 1: at Miami, 1 p.m., Sep. 11.Week 4: at Green Bay, 4:25 p.m., Oct. 2.Week 5: vs. Detroit, 1 p.m., Oct. 9.Week 7: vs. Chicago (MNF), 8:15 p.m., Oct. 24.Week 12: (Thanksgiving) at Minnesota, 8:20 p.m., Nov. 24.Week 17: vs. Miami Last year, the Dolphins swept the Patriots scoring a 17-16 win at Foxboro in Week 1 and a 33-24 home win during the season's finale. According to the Herald, the Patriots will be traveling for nine road games this season, including trips to Las Vegas, Arizona and Pittsburgh.
