Shorts COVID-19 Risk is High Again The City of Somerville announced last week that the COVID-19 Community Level is now considered "high." All of Middlesex County and many other nearby counties are also at a high level. The CDC recommends these prevention tips when community levels are high: Wear a mask indoors in public Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines Get tested if you have symptoms Stay home if sick or recently exposed Additional precautions may be needed for people at high risk for severe illness. Residents can now get free, high-quality KN95 masks at all three Somerville public libraries and at City Hall during business hours. The following CVS pharmacies are offering free N95 masks (while supplies last): 532 Medford St., 495 Grand Union Blvd., and 1 Davis Square. You can find more pharmacies offering free masks with the CDC lookup tool, or call 3-1-1 (617-666-3311) for assistance.
