NAUGATUCK, CT — A proposal for a new skateboard park in Naugatuck was presented to the Board of Mayor and Burgesses during a May 3 meeting, Citizen's News reports. The project is estimated to cost about $200,000.

According to Citizen's News, officials propose to install the concrete skate park on Crown Street, near Hop Brook Elementary School, where there is currently a playground. Mayor Pete Hess said he would like to hear more input from residents before possibly moving forward with the project.
