Beautiful loved border collie to rehome

We need to rehome our border collie. This has been a very hard decision to make as he is part of our family. But our husky and he do not get along with each other. Scout is more used to others and more social so we think he’s the better candidate for finding a new forever home. Scout loves people and attention. He has been primarily an inside dog because we live in town and he is aware of every dog being walked in the area when outside. He loves walks on the leash but wants to herd cars. He has been around children from 7 years and up his whole life. But I think he’d be better with 1 or 2 adults. He loves to go in the car and truck but doesn’t get the opportunity a lot. He does bark to be let out and to come in. Usually that is a quick bark and wait if we’re paying attention. If we’re by the door he will tap the door with his foot and not bark. He is 5 years old, purebred and his parents were working ranch dogs. He is quite smart, protective and wants to please. We want the absolute best situation for him and our husky so have come to the very hard decision to search for a good home for him. There is a small rehoming fee so we know he is going to a responsible home.
