OCEAN CITY, NJ — Current Second Ward Councilman Tom Rotondi will not concede the election for an at-large City Council seat, according to a report by OCNJ Daily.
Only 48 votes separate Rotondi from opponent Pete Madden to get the third at-large City Council seat.
Rotondi received 1,897 votes compared to Madden's 1,945, according to unofficial results. Karen Bergman and John "Tony P" Polcini received 2,267 votes and 1,980 votes, respectively.

According to the news outlet, Rotondi said he will wait until the final tallies are in, which will be May 17.
Madden told the outlet that he believes the results will not change.
