HOBOKEN, NJ — While New York Sports Club's uptown Hoboken location has remained open, their downtown location closed six months into the pandemic — and new signage this week revealed what will open in its place. The spacious location four blocks from the Hoboken Train Terminal, next door to CVS, will welcome a physical therapy practice. The signage states that RWJ (Robert Wood Johnson) Barnabas Health is taking over the location, and that JAG-One physical therapy is coming soon. The sign also makes reference to upcoming urology, neurology, nutrition, and women's health specialists. JAG-One has more than 100 locations in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. The sign also notes that RWJBarnabas is "healing, enhancing, and investing in Hoboken." In total, the network runs 11 hospitals, four children's hospitals, 23 rehab and sports health nets, 21 imaging centers, day cares, pharmacies, outpatient centers, nursing facilities, and more. NYSC Closure When NYSC closed down in 2020, they sent a note to members: "Dear [Member], we hope this email finds you and your loved ones safe and healthy.
