PHILADELPHIA, PA — Service on a SEPTA regional rail line was briefly suspended after a train struck and killed a person in Philadelphia on Thursday morning, according to authorities and media reports. The incident occurred just before 8:30 a.m. on State Road, in the Tacony section of Philadelphia, on the Trenton line. NBC Philadelphia reports the individual that was struck has died.
