Anoka County has delayed the removal of the Spring Road Restrictions on the Anoka County Highway system.
MnDOT has removed their road restrictions for the Metro area; however, Anoka County has decided to delay the removal of the restrictions due to the cooler than normal temperatures, prolonged cold nights below freezing, high moisture levels in the soils and the delayed thawing of ground frost. This decision has not been an easy one.
The Anoka County Highway Department is protecting further deterioration of the Highway system throughout the County, as this past winter resulted in significant roadway deterioration on several of the County's Highways.
Please refer to the approved weight limit map (https://www.anokacounty.us/DocumentCenter/View/4543/2022-Road-and-Bridge-Restrictions) to ensure you are meeting weight restrictions within Anoka County.
