BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt. ARRESTS SPEEDING Thomas C. Graham, 31, of the 500 block of N. Walnut Avenue, Arlington Heights, speeding 26-34 mph over the speed limit, had a bond forfeiture warrant out of DuPage County for operating a motor vehicle with no valid license, and was arrested at 11:54 p.m. May 4. He was released after posting a $6,000 bond and was assigned a court date of May 11. DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED Edward A. Agnew, Jr., 64, of the 8800 block of Lockwood Avenue, Skokie, is accused of driving while license revoked, and was arrested at 8:32 a.m. May 7, in the 100 block of N. Milwaukee Avenue. They were released after posting bond and were assigned a court date of July 15.Jamar H. Ragin, 41, of the 37000 block of N. Parma Avenue, Lake Villa, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested at 11:01 a.m May 7, in the 21300 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He was released after posting bond and was assigned a court date of July 15. Willie Issac Blackman, 53, homeless, is accused of driving on a suspended license, failure to yield, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 11:44 p.m. May 7, westbound on Dundee Road, west of Trace Drive. He was released after posting bond and was assigned a court date of May 31. Leonardo Ce Alcantara-Aguilar, 52, of the 800 block of S. 17th Avenue, Maywood, is accused of driving on a suspended license, illegally tinted windows, defective windshield, and was arrested at 4:56 p.m. May 8 at Arlington Heights and Dundee roads. He was released after posting bond and was assigned a court date of May 23. DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE Ramiro Alvarez-Carmona, 36, of the 2200 block of Nichols Road, Arlington Heights, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence (third time), driving on a suspended license, transporting alcohol as driver, communicating on an electronic device, and was arrested at 11:43 p.m. May 9, in the 1200 block of W. Dundee Road. He was held for a bond hearing and was assigned a court date of June 23. LAST WEEK: Cars On Nearby Streets Burglarized Overnight Near Same Time INCIDENTS BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE A person reported their vehicle had been burglarized between May 4-5 while it had been parked in the 1300 block of Rose Boulevard. Personal items were taken from the vehicle. A resident in the 1300 block of Rose Boulevard called police at 7:26 p.m. May 5, to report their wallet had been taken from their unlocked vehicle in the driveway during the overnight hours. They discovered their wallet was missing from the vehicle's center console, but nothing else was taken. RETAIL THEFT Police responded at 9:16 a.m. May 5, to Woodman's Grocery, 1500 block of E. Deerfield Parkway, for a report of a retail theft. Police met with a person in the self check-out lane who did not ring up all the grocery items for sale. The person was issued an adjudication ticket and a trespass warning. CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO VEHICLE Police responded to the 1300 block of Rose Boulevard for a criminal trespass to vehicle report. The victim's car was entered and ransacked between May 4 and May 5 while it was parked in the area. Nothing was taken from the vehicle. MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT A resident in the 1500 block of Countryside Drive called police at 10:02 a.m. May 5, to report their vehicle had been stolen during the overnight hours while it was parked in the driveway. The vehicle was recovered on May 8 by North Chicago police. THEFT A person reported at 3:21 p.m. May 5, several yard signs they had posted on the BMO Harris property, 1100 block of N. McHenry Road, had been stolen shortly after being put up. They had placed the flags on the bank property between the parking lot and sidewalk the previous day. They said they had permission from the branch manager. After placing the eight signs around the property, the person said they looked back and saw someone taking the signs, placing them in their car and took off. THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS A person reported May 10 that while their car was parked in the 1200 block of Deerfield Parkway, their catalytic converter was stolen during the overnight hours. They discovered the theft when they tried starting the vehicle and found it was making a lot of noise.
