BOLINGBROOK, IL — A Chicago man is in police custody after he was found to be in possession of heroin and a loaded handgun on Wednesday night after he was pulled over by Bolingbrook Police after a report of a drug sale, police said Thursday. Larry M. Hendrix, 48, has been charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and delivery of a controlled substance, police said. Hendrix was pulled over by police at 6:29 p.m. on Wednesday after officers were alerted to the drug sale, police said. Hendrix, who was pulled over in the 200 block of North Bolingbrook Drive, was found to be in possession of 13.8 grams of heroin and also had a holstered loaded handgun on his person when he was pulled over, police said. Hendrix was taken to the Will County Jail after being arrested. He was scheduled to appear in court on the charges on Thursday, according to his booking information.
