Press release from the City of Dayton: May 6, 2022 The City of Dayton Recreation Department is hiring lifeguards--temporary and permanent positions are available! Training is free with a commitment to work for the City of Dayton (30 hours minimum for the months of June and July). If you do not wish to commit to working for the City of Dayton, the certification fee is $200. This is a blended learning course--you must complete online assignments and attend all class sessions for successful completion. Must be at least 15 years old and pass a swimming pre-skills test.
