Port Washington To Host 'Halloween on Main' Scavenger Hunt

PORT WASHINGTON, NY – Port Washington families will have the chance this year to participant in a self-directed scavenger hunt: Halloween on Main. Hosted by Port Washington BID and the Port Washington Public Library, the event encourages families to download a game card, which directs them to find participating businesses whoo will display a unique placard in their windows. Families can search and find as many placards as they choose. They can also submit completed game cards to the Library to receive a goodie bag. Photos taken at store fronts with the placard may be submitted for a chance to win the grand prize: a toy-filled gift bag. All photos must be uploaded to Instagram or Facebook by Nov. 1 with #HalloweenOnMain and tag @PWPLHappenings to be eligible.
