Immediate position available for an Environmental Service Technician. Environmental Service Technician’s primary responsibility is the safety and cleanliness of the medical facility. Medical facility cleaning experience or 2 years of housekeeping experience is highly preferred. Experience with floor cleaning/maintenance such as stripping/waxing and heavy extraction carpet cleaning is also highly preferred. Good communication skills are required for this position as well as a valid driver’s license. Duties Will Include But Are Not Limited To: Cleaning/Sanitizing- bathroom fixtures, drinking centers, handwashing areas, trash containers and lids, all stainless steel, walls, exam rooms and all other surfaces prone to harboring communicable diseases. Deep cleaning of Exam rooms and other areas as required General cleaning tasks -trash/recycling/biohazard removal, dusting, mopping, glass cleaning, vacuuming and other general cleaning and detail cleaning tasks. General light maintenance work such as wall repair/painting touch up, changing light bulbs, moving furniture, unclogging sinks/toilets etc. Snow removal or sidewalks, light landscaping and outside garbage pick up and disposal Maintain work area and equipment Order and replenish janitorial type supplies Maintain safety data sheet records for cleaning products and chemicals Plan/coordinate and perform major cleaning operations with the manager Other job-related duties as assigned Pay starting at $18.80/HR Monday -Friday 5pm -130am Requirements: High school Diploma or GED Valid Driver’s License Must be able to lift 50lbs Experience with floor cleaning/maintenance/heavy extraction carpet cleaning 2 years Housekeeping or Medical facility cleaning experience preferred Background will be viewed Drug Free Environment Applicants never pay fees when applying with or working for TDL Staffing Begin your application online at www.tdlstaffing.com Call our office for further information or with questions at 907-455-8300 EOE
