Part Time Water Damage Restoration Helper

Local water damage restoration company looking for part time helper. Hours will vary and are very flexible. Each shift would pay a minimum of 3 hours. Most shifts are 4-6 hours, however there will be times where more hours will be needed and or available. Most shifts would be on an as needed basis, 2-3 per week on average. Hired technician would report to the office in Petersburg for each shift. Clean background ( no felonies or larcenies) required as we are working in peoples homes. Job Description- To assist in the activities of water damage mitigation in occupied dwellings and retail locations, which include: - Extracting water, pulling up wet carpeting and padding, tearing out flooring and drywall, removing we insulation in crawlspaces, moving of furniture, cleaning up of sewage (on occasion), general demolition and cleaning, loading - unloading- and set up of drying equipment which includes commercial air movers and dehumidifiers, and MOST IMPORTANTLY of all - MUST HAVE A GOOD, PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE and be TEAM PLAYER. Must be able to safely lift 50 pounds, crawl underneath houses, be polite and willing to learn. Construction experience is a plus, but not required. Use of general hand tools is also prefered. Positive attitude is mandatory.
