property construction / maintenance worker

We are looking for a full time position for an all around property constructor/ maintenance work for multiple office/ residential properties. Candidate needs their own reliable transportation for New England and willing to travel 5% of the time ( gas card included). They need to be willing to learn on a daily basis to produce a high end product efficiently and effectively. I'm the President of a Construction Engineering Inspection company scrutiny is a given and hacks need not apply. If your unable to work and be productive independently this is not the job for you. This candidate is self motivated and wants to see items tasks completed daily. Property projects are constructing wood decks, cabinets, small building & gazebos, retaining walls, concrete /masonry, rough/ finish carpentry, metal roofing gutters painting, etc... from frame to finish. Maintenance will include small engine repairs minor vehicle repairs changing oil. plugs, pads, filters etc, cutting lawns minor landscaping duties, wood splitting and stacking paint/stain decks and pressure wash walkways and house yearly...etc There is a 1500 sf shop for fabricating and doing projects out of the weather at the NS property. The primary location is North Stonington however we have other properties in New England and Florida and travel is required periodically
