Description
RARE Male Goniurosaurus Hainanensis ( Chinese Cave Gecko)
Rehoming fee.
Here is a very rare species that you don’t see often. Goniurosaurus hainanensis is in Eublepharidae family of geckos that contain many commonly kept species of lizard including the Leopard Gecko and the African Fat Tail. BUT requires completely different care. In some ways easier to keep than their leopard gecko cousins.
Their care is similar to that of a crested. They need moderate to high humidity, and no heating requirements AS LONG as room temperature stays between 72-78 degrees. It’s okay for the temperature to very outside a few degrees outside that range for very short durations.
They are insectivores and will eat a variety of insects. Insects need to be no bigger than the the size of the geckos head. I personally feed exclusively Dubia roaches with the occasional cricket.
