Press release from Manhasset Public Schools: Oct. 30, 2020 Twelve Manhasset Public Schools faculty members were recognized for receiving tenure during the district's virtual board of education meeting on Oct. 22. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Vincent Butera and Board of Education President Pat Aitken thanked the tenured faculty for their hard work in the district, especially over the past few months. A presentation of photos of the faculty members being honored was played during the meeting as part of the celebration. Administrators and department directors introduced each person receiving tenure, speaking a few words about why they deserved this achievement and honor. Congratulations to the following faculty members: Diane Bollen, Secondary School Meghan Buonpastore, Secondary School Stephen Guidolin, Secondary School Erin Intrabartola, Shelter Rock Elementary School Samantha Lupa, Secondary School Lori Margulies, Secondary School Robert Mashburn, Secondary School Danielle Mora , Munsey Park Elementary School Phyllis Parisi-Ellis, Shelter Rock Elementary School Christen Visceglie, Secondary School Jacqueline Williams, Secondary School Stephanie Yacavone, Shelter Rock Elementary School "There can be no question whether or not we want individuals to be with our kids for 25, 30 years. Those who are being honored certainly reflect that standard and are the reason why Manhasset is such a special district," said Dr. Butera.
