Singer/songwriter looking for likeminded musicians

to jam, experiment, have fun, and see where it goes. I have been writing/recording music solo (for the most part) for what seems like a lifetime, but over the last couple of years the 4 walls in my small home studio have been closing in. What I would like to do is find creative people who are interested in collaborating & sharing suggestions and ideas for primarily original music, (with a few occasional b-side covers). I myself have a plethora of completed projects as well as others in various stages so I would welcome any original ideas/songs you might bring. I have my ego in check so I am ok starting slow, just for fun to see how things progress, though my goal is to ultimately record collaborative demos, play some small shows and then go from there. I primarily play guitar moderately well and can sing back up or lead vocals, (though, if you sing, rad!). I can get by on several other instruments to a degree and I have been experimenting with MIDI, (VSTs, keys, drum machines, etc.) over the last couple of years. Additionally, I am fairly comfortable with various DAWs, though primarily Reaper. I am not one to stick to any single genre of music so I listen to and take influence from anything I find interesting. That can lead me to anything from Tom Waits to Tool, to 90s boom bap to Velvet Revolver, 70s funk to the Shins, 80s synth to 90s grunge, Audioslave to Kavinski, Nick Cave to Muse.. really just anything creative & inspiring. For the record, I am a professional outside of music … a career type cog in a much larger machine. I’m a punctual, responsible, motivated, charming mofo & chill as can be; very much a no drama kinda guy. I don’t have any of my completed music posted anywhere yet, (I’m currently building a website for all of my creative endeavors), but I can send links if you are curious as to what you might be getting in to. In any case, I hope to hear from some creative minds looking to detach from life 1 to 3 times a week in the Dana Point area for some beach, bbq & music! Thanks
