Black Star Line has an exciting opportunity to join our In-House Delivery & Installation Team as a Furniture Delivery & Appliance Installation Specialist or Driver. Experience driving 26-foot appliance delivery trucks. Proper handling and installation of gas and electric household appliances such as washers, dryers, dishwashers, coffee makers, and Ranges. Ensures the installed appliances are damage free, properly installed according to manufacturer's specifications, and are fully functioning. The ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds regularly. The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day. Interact professionally and courteously with builders, designers, and on-site customers - you deal with a vast array of customers. Read plans, and specs to have a proper install --- site evals, meet specs, connected properly, etc. Attend installation training seminars and certifications to stay up-to-date on all product changes. Qualifications Ability to handle physical workload, work well in teams, and pass pre-employment screenings (DOT Physical, Background Check & Drug Test) Previous experience in delivering furniture and installing household appliances such as washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, and ranges. The ability to deliver "white glove service" to customers and excellent customer service skills are a must!
