Good Evening Everyone! I hope this post finds everyone well! I'm a disabled parent of 3. That makes things hard on its own all the time, but lately things have gotten a lot harder. Before moving forward I would like to make it clear I'm not asking for money or financial help. Recently my kids and I were able to get out from under my toxic and abusive family, and that was great! However I live off disability and being newly independent is expensive! I'm reaching out to see if anyone has any household items, groceries, etc they could help us with. We are out of things like dish soap, body wash etc and are low on food. I can go without, but not my kids and my youngest has autism and a fairly restricted diet due to sensory issues. So any kid friendly foods, bottled water as we are on well water and have been advised not to drink it. I would be amazingly grateful and willing to pay it forward or back. We are reaching out to local food banks and churches but no luck,some are actually pretty rude about it. I don't have the heart for them telling me I'm a failure right now. One problem I've had however is I cannot drive to pick things up as I don't have a car but even if I did I'm unable to drive to pick them up since i have seizures, bad vision and my legs don't work so well. But I'm local to the Douglas County area, off i20 exit 44. I have applied for food stamps also! They will be coming but not until the end of the month,so the help just to get to that will be great honestly. If you can offer any help or need more info etc please feel free to reach out any time!!
