Job description: Our client is a global company providing manufacturing services in the medical device industry, and they’re looking to hire a Production Worker. In this position, you will report directly to the manufacturing supervisor to set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. The ideal candidate would under minimal supervision, set up and operate manually controlled machines in skilled precision and bench work in the fabrication, maintenance, repair, and alteration of machinery, machine parts, tools, and equipment. The Production Worker must be able to perform multiple tasks within manufacturing and will be rotated through different positions as needed, to meet production goals. Schedule: 1st and 2nd shifts available Salary Compensation: starting at $16/hr. + overtime, depending on experience Benefits: Health, dental, life insurance, short and long-term disability, 401(k) plan, and employer match Primary Responsibilities • Operates machinery to meet production goals • Assembles materials and equipment as requested • Conducts inspections and quality control of products • Communicate effectively with team members on daily goals set by manager • Able to troubleshoot machinery • Uses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements • A mechanical aptitude and an ability to work multiple projects in a rapid paced R&Denvironment Requirements • HS Diploma/GED required • Mechanical Aptitude • Prior experience in production setting preferred • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision • Ability to maintain proper inventory of product at workstations • Ability to work with hand tools • Physically able to lift, carry and move up to 50 pounds unassisted • Ability to stand for long hours at a time • Ability to lift, bend, kneel and squat • Maintain clean and safe work areas and equipment
