This position provides a unique opportunity to acquire the necessary expertise to become a qualified tradesperson through on-the-job training, technical workshops, and regular coaching sessions.  You'll work side-by-side with our Irrigation Service Specialists to learn valuable skills in troubleshooting, modifying, and designing in-ground irrigation systems. The right candidate is eager to learn, loves solving puzzles, enjoys tackling new and varying tasks, and has the ability to anticipate the needs of clients and team members. Duties and Responsibilities: ·         Assist in performing irrigation system startups, winterizations, and inspections ·         Learn to troubleshoot and diagnose irrigation problems ·         Learn to identify irrigation system enhancements or necessary adjustments ·         Demonstrate strong customer service skills with 100% customer satisfaction ·         Ensure successful communication between office staff and clients ·         Develop knowledge of the industry and company operations ·         Assist in supply and equipment maintenance ·         Learn to perform other types of work during off-peak seasons ·         Ability to work overtime during peak seasons Job Requirements: ·         A valid driver's license with no points ·         Ability to dig and work in a kneeling position for extended periods ·         Ability to lift 50 pounds, pull piping, load and unload materials from trucks Why work with Dowco?
