Description

Colorado Springs, Colorado – The Military Band-Aid Softball Tournament is the second largest military softball tournament in the world and for the 31st year the tournament will be hosted June 2nd – June 5th at the Skyview Sports Complex in the beautiful city of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Being ranked as one of the top military towns in the country as well as its central location, it is just a natural fit for the tournament to continuously be hosted within the city. The event currently hosts over 50 teams equating to over 700 Active Duty, Reserve, Retirees and Veterans of the Armed Forces as well as DOD civilians and their families. The tournament schedules over 200 games on 8 different fields at 2 separate complexes. The military lifestyle allows for individuals to have friends from across the globe. These service members are constantly moving throughout their careers, and they are always making new friends while occasionally running into old ones. For the 31st year, we pride ourselves on reuniting these friends, co-workers, ballplayers for a weekend of good fun, competitive play, and camaraderie. Over the duration of the weekend the Honor Bell presented by the Honor Bell Foundation - a 1000-pound bronze instrument specially forged from the legacy of other heroic service men and women, which is tolled at public ceremonies and funeral rites to signal our respect and sound our loss, will be proudly on display at the main entrance into the Skyview Sports Complex. The Military Band-Aid will also be hosting the USA Patriots Softball Team (formerly the Wounded Warriors Softball Team). The team is comprised of competitive, athletic veterans who have lost limbs in combat and non-combat related injuries. While some are still in the service, others are attending college thanks to the Post-9/11 GI Bill and others have moved on to new careers. These individuals continue to push the limits of modern prosthetics to inspire, motivate and offer a place for camaraderie and healing on and off the field of play and to continue Serving Beyond the Uniform. ### The event is expected to attract thousands of participants and spectators alike. Get the word out about your products, services, or company by becoming a sponsor. Expo booths, field banners, display opportunities and social media shout outs are available during the five-day event. Special pricing exists for military, veteran-owned business, and non-profit entities. Go to for detailed information on registration and sponsorship.
