What will you be doing? We are looking for a reliable and independent Boat Crew Member to join our team in Murrells Inlet, SC! The Boat Crew Member will perform a variety of assigned duties to ensure the vessel is clean and well-maintained. The Boat Crew Member will interact with passengers in a professional and courteous manner & exhibit professional appearance at all times. This is a full-time year-round, hourly position. The Boat Crew Member responsibilities, include but are not limited to: Completing maintenance and improvement projects, such as painting, varnishing, splicing lines, rigging repair etc. Boat preparation, including; stocking, wash-down/cleaning, re-fueling etc. Utilize basic knowledge to service boat motors – changing oil, diagnostic, electrical and fuel filters and other systems. Assist with docking vessels, and some sailing as needed Performs safety and security rounds as directed Maintain awareness of and practice basic safety rules and respect for the environment. Perform other duties as assigned. What are we looking for? Reliable transportation, and valid driver’s license required Mechanical/Engine knowledge strongly preferred Must be at least 18 years-old Ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends. Willing and able to work outdoors Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail.
