Hours: Monday – Friday (crew members are paid for 8 hours minimum per day even if we finish early) Pay: $20 - $22.50 per hour with a raise every 6 months American Tree Care has been around for over 25 years and is owned and operated by a 4th generation climber. We have a strong customer base and are busy year-round, so we are looking to hire new crew members to join our close-knit team. This is hard work, but when done right, it can be fun. Our crew puts safety first. We work outside in the elements and communicate well to ensure that no one gets injured. Job tasks: • Operate stump grinders, woodchippers, trucks, chainsaws, and other equipment and tools • Operate chainsaws, drag and feed limbs and brush into woodchipper • Clean, sharpen, and lubricate tools and equipment • Collect debris from tree trimming into piles, using shovels, rakes, or other tools • Critical thinking and complex problem solving in a team environment while monitoring what the other crew members are doing to ensure safety Requirements: • Legal to work in the U.S. • Driver’s License • Over the age of 18 • Able to pass a drug test (excluding marijuana per Washington state laws for individuals over the age of 21) • Must be able to be on feet all day, walk, run, climb a ladder, lift over 50 lbs Experience is great, but not required.
