Join our Volunteer team to help Meals on Wheels in King County fight hunger! As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you will belong to a team committed to helping homebound seniors maintain their health and independence with nutritious food, personal contact, and caring service. Delivery Driver: A Volunteer is needed to help pack and deliver meals every other Wednesday. Volunteers arrive at our Enumclaw site at 11:45 am and are typically done with their route in 1.5 – 2 hours. Training is provided and mileage to deliver meals is reimbursable. Qualities sought in Meals on Wheels volunteers: Good communication and people skills, reliability, good cheer, and a commitment to the well-being of elders. Requirements: Complete the Meals on Wheels Volunteer Application, consent to a Washington State Patrol background check, the ability to lift 15 pounds, and be age 18 or more.
