Doorganics, a Grand Rapids based organic grocery delivery service is hiring for a warehouse team member 32hrs /week. We work closely with local and organic farmers and food makers to deliver their products right to our customers front doors. We've been in business serving Michigan communities for 11 years! Hours are 7am - 3pm Mondays, and 6am - 2pm Tuesdays through Thursdays. Average 32 hrs per week. Specific Responsibilities: We are seeking a candidate that is passionate about local and organic food. Candidate must enjoy working on their feet and must be a hustler and quick worker. This specific position will be focused on managing local and organic produce and groceries and boxing customer orders as part of a small team. Specific responsibilities include inventory management, ordering/reordering, quality control, order packing and general warehouse organization/cleanliness. General Responsibilities: General warehouse labor Inventory - quantity, quality, rotation, etc. Packing orders as part of a team Cleaning, organizing warehouse for streamlined operational success Positive voice for organic and local food in the community Willing/able to drive cargo van and make deliveries on occasion is a plus Doorganics is growing fast, and we are seeking someone who wishes to join a fun and ever changing environment.
