CORAM, NY — WellLife Network, a health and human services nonprofit organization that offers programs across Long Island and beyond, is slated to host a series of "Drive-Up" Food Giveaways, according to a news release. The program will be conducted four times each month during August, September, October, November and December at the organization's food pantries in Smithtown, Huntington, Coram, and Wyandanch.
The next giveaway is scheduled at the Coram Pantry. The event will run 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday as long as supplies last, at 3600 Route 112, Coram.
"WellLife is committed to providing nutritious food during the COVID-19 pandemic to our friends and neighbors in need," the organization stated. "If you do not have the dollars to purchase food for yourself or your family and are experiencing an emergency food need, we can help."
WellLife operates four pantries throughout Suffolk County and offers food from frozen entrees to cereal, milk, canned and fresh fruits and vegetables, condiments, rice, pasta, snacks for school lunches, baby items, personal items, and pet food.
"Providing a food pantry to you our neighbors in Smithtown, Coram, Huntington, and Wyandanch reinforces the WellLife Network's mission of empowering individuals and families to realize their full potential by helping them to maintain their good health," the organization wrote.
