Recipient of the 2022 Community Philanthropy Leadership Award Each year the National Children’s Alliance, based in Washington DC, recognizes outstanding individuals who have demonstrated their commitment and dedication to children and their families through promotion of the Children’s Advocacy Center model and mission. A longtime supporter of Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center, Denise Busley was selected out of a national pool of nominees to be recognized for her advocacy against child sexual abuse and her ongoing efforts to protect children at the local, state, and national levels. Denise was instrumental in the establishment of Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center, and it is with gratitude we invite you to watch the ceremony and congratulate Denise in person.
