From the City of Acworth: On behalf of the Mayor, Board of Aldermen, and City Staff we would like to invite you to be a part of a special community conversation taking place on Wednesday, June 10 at 1:00 p.m. The conversation will focus on current events that include race, prejudice, social injustice, and strategies to bring our community closer together. The format will include a panel of community leaders that will have dialogue on the topics. Due to COVID-19 group size restrictions, this will be a virtual experience that is streamed live on the City of Acworth Facebook Page (facebook.com/CityofAcworth). We encourage you to participate in helping us formulate the discussion. Send your questions for the panel into [email protected] by Tuesday, June 9 at noon. We will do our best to address as many questions as possible in our allotted time and will consolidate frequently asked or similar questions in nature.
