Program staff members are welcomed to join the Higher Education Coordinating Commission in the 2022 Oregon Youth Works training retreat. The Oregon Youth Works division of the Higher Education Coordinating Commission is proud to present the opportunity to attend this year's training event, in-person, located in Grand Ronde Oregon. This 3 day event is open to all program staff of any organization currently receiving awards from the any of the five youth workforce development grant programs: Oregon Conservation CorpsOregon Youth CorpsOregon Youth Employment ProgramWIOA YouthDHS TANF Youth. Additionally, the Oregon Youth Corps will be extending this offer to partnership programs. Registration Information: Registration is limited to an estimated 75 total slots and will be offered on a first come first serve basis. Should the 75 available slots be filled, interested participants after that will be placed on our waitlist and notified of any openings. Please be sure to register for the number of individuals you intend to send to the training, even if they have not yet been hired and you are not able to provide full name/info. To register unknown attendant(s): list in the first/last name field "Unknown 1" for the first unknown attendant, "Unknown 2" for the second, and so on until you have registered for the desired number of spots. Continue filling out organizational information as normal. Once information about the attendants is known, please send the updated contact information to [email protected]. Lodging Information: The training event in Grand Ronde is conveniently located at the Spirit Mountain Casino with lodging set aside for attendees the night of Monday, June 27th and Tuesday, June 28th. Please be sure to notate during registration if you will require a room and if you need any accommodations so that we can ensure we have a room set aside for you. Meals Information: Meals will be provided for all three days with accommodations for gluten-free and vegan diets. If there are any other dietary restrictions that need to be considered, please notate during registration. Event Information: Training will be provided by Synergo.
