This is a meeting with the Writer/Director/Producer of the film "Listen" (2017) about student mental health in schools.
“Listen” is a provocative film (2017) dealing with the real lives of students and their health struggles. Everyday students are waiting for another person to notice they are broken or alone. What happens when we don't listen? “Listen” is a narrative film inspired by real youth dying to be heard. The film illustrates the essential role adults play in the lives of our youth and in the fabric of our communities. It provides a candid look at how our educational system and parenting methods often fail to recognize that our youth need patience, compassion and our attention.
AIER, in partnership with ESD 101 is inviting you to an interactive conversation with the Writer, Producer and Director – Erahm Christopher. On May 20th at 2:00pm Mr. Christopher will be at the ESD 101 office in Spokane in the Putnam Room.
