Description
Works with and receives direction from Lead Technicians.
• Performs equipment Planned Maintenance and day to day general maintenance items.
• Diagnose problems, prepare tools needed for repairs.
• Repair and install new systems in the field.
• Keep work area/truck clean and organized.
• Maintain proper inventory on service vehicle.
• Maintain a professional image and relationship with customers.
• Identify new business opportunities while on customer premises
• Cleaning, assembling, and testing of various hydraulic pumps, motors, and valves
• Assist to locate and correct electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machine
problems.
TRAINING & JOB KNOWLEDGE
• Hydraulics and electrical machinery knowledge and experience.
• Continued job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, industry safety
requirements and training.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to determine how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations,
and the environment will affect outcome.
• Skill to formulate a sound decision using available information.
• Ability to pay attention to the details of a task.
• Work at customer site in accordance with their work rules.
• Demonstrates the ability to safely operate the equipment (hoist, fork trucks, and lifts) used
to maneuver hydraulic or pneumatic units
Having a TWIC card is a plus
Certified to drive a forklift is a plus
