She was appointed on March 1, 2022, as First Bank’s VP IDEA Officer. (Inclusion, Diversity, Engagement, Action). Candace earned an associate degree from Lord Fairfax Community College, graduated from the Virginia Bankers Association’s School of Bank Management at the University of Virginia, the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber’s Community Leadership Program, and more recently completed a certificate program from the Virginia Bankers Association’s Executive Leadership Institute. She currently serves on boards for: Museum of the Shenandoah Valley, the Fremont Street Nursery School, the Laurel Center, and the Douglas Alumna Association, and serves on the Family Services Committee for Habitat for Humanity Winchester/Fredrick County. She has also served on the LFCC Naming Task Force, the board of the Sinclair Medical Clinic, and the Equity Advisory Committee for the Winchester Public Schools.
