Learn basic embroidery techniques and design your own tea towel. Join our in-residence embroidery teacher Jo Cohen, of Sawmill Camerretti, to learn how to embroider flour sack towels. These are the very same tea towels that Jo sells here at Nest. Jo will teach you many of her secrets like how to keep the back or your work looking as neat as the front, how to keep curves from getting out of control, and how choosing the right stitch for your design can make your project a breeze to complete. You will learn all of the stitches needed to complete your project along with how to apply a decorative edge! This class is suitable for beginner and up. Do you have a project that you’re stuck on? Bring it! Brand new to embroidery? I can get you started learning the basic stitches. Supplies are not included in the class fee.All class supplies are available to purchase at Nest.
